Since 2014, the Biobased Innovation Garden has been working on new opportunities for biobased materials. Every year we come across new plants: from flax to tobacco, from cotton to Russian dandelions. Not everything succeeds, but there are many successes to celebrate. Now we have reached the point where countless materials are available for marketing, and the question remains: how does the biobased market get moving?

That is why Delphy, together with Circular Biobased Delta, are organizing the Biobased Acceleration Day on July 5, 2022: a day full of information and inspiration in the field of biobased entrepreneurship. With extra attention for the building industry.

  • What: Biobased Acceleration Day.
  • Theme: How to get the biobased market moving?
  • Where: Rusthoeve in Zeeland.
  • When: July 5, 09:30 - 16:30.
  • For whom: makers and buyers of biobased materials. With special attention to the building industry.
  • Why: to bring supply and demand together and accelerate the biobased market.

PROGRAM

The morning program is packed with key-note speakers and workshops on sustainable chemistry, textiles, biobased in chemistry and biobased in construction. In the afternoon there will be pitches, a tour of the Biobased Innovation Garden and an exhibitor market with biobased products that are ready-to-market. During the afternoon program Gerrit Hiemstra will tell about how he built his biobased house. Followed by a lively forum and panel discussion, led by delegate Jo-Annes de Bat, of Zeeland Province.
