12 octobre 2021

(English version below)

The circular economy, which is increasingly encouraged, contributes to economic growth and business competitiveness by developing new products, some with high added value. However, the market introduction of new products from biomass co-products is often complex, especially because of the different legislations in force, at regional and European levels.

This workshop, organized in the framework of the Interreg NWE project AgriWasteValue, gives an overview of the elements to be integrated in any biomass co-product valorization project by pointing out some of these legislations and their concrete impacts on the concerned projects.

What are the legislations currently in place for the valorisation of biomass co-products? What are the points of attention during the development of a new product? What are the procedures to follow to develop and market a product? What are the feedbacks from experience?

All these questions will be answered on October 12, 2021, from 10:30am to noon, during the webinar workshop organized by ValBiom in the framework of the Interreg NWE project AgriWasteValue, which aims at transforming agricultural residues from the North-Western regions of Europe into bioactive compounds in order to use them in the cosmetic, nutraceutical, energetic, chemical and agricultural fields.

Online event, in French.
